A merchant submits a discount, the price is confirmed, the offer is published, and the purchase happens at the shop itself.
From submission to publication
- The merchant submits the offer with current price, reference price and end date.
- The price is confirmed on the shop's page.
- The offer is given the correct category and shop.
- It is published and appears in the listings.
How offers are ranked
- Depth of the discount against the reference price.
- Popularity with readers.
- Date of publication, with newer offers favoured.
- How close the offer is to expiring.
Where the purchase happens
Poupa does not process payments. The link takes the reader to the shop's page, where the purchase is completed under that shop's terms.
Exchanges, returns and warranty are handled by the shop.
Paid placements
Campaigns approved in the moderation queue appear in their own slots with a visible label, and take no part in the organic ranking described above.
